We think the plot is a great size and we love how set back from the road we are, plus at the rear you are not over looked. Privacy is important to us and the rear of the house is a real sanctuary, we have landscaped it with full width 30m2 deck, had the lawn re-laid and we love the rare Japanese acer tree that is the focal piece of the garden. We wanted to make the property our own, we replastered, decorated and installed oak internal doors, bespoke oak stair handrail, new kitchen and utility room, new bathroom. We installed a new boiler in July 2020. Plans have been drawn up for an extension. We knew within 15 seconds of viewing the property, that this was the home we had been searching for, which was a huge relief as we had a viewed a vast amount of properties before this one. Its lived up to all our expectations on so many levels In our opinion it's one of the best roads in the area, it is part tree lined and has a fantastic community feel. We personally this year set up a community group and this has been a huge success. The councillors, local MP and community support groups have been behind us getting the road improved and residents supported. There are great facilities a walk or short drive including Parr Fold Park, schools, shopping area and the loop line. The loop line has had an extensive overhaul and is one of the areas best features, we regularly run, walk and cycle down it with the children and friends.
